Foundation backs research work

The CdLS Foundation UK and Ireland has pledged support to an Italian research project, NEPHIRD (a European network for epidemiological and public health data collection on rare diseases).

NEPHIRD has now received European Commission funding. Scientific Advisory Council (SAC) member, Dr Angelo Sellicorni from Milan – a regular visitor to UK conferences – requested the Foundation’s endorsement of the project to help widen the involvement of more EU states. Several medical professionals from the UK are also involved in the research.
