Are there any treatment's or therapies that will help my child?

The most important thing you can do for your child is to treat them, as far as possible, as if they were a normal child. They need to be loved and cared for like any other child. It is particularly important not to let them get away with things that you would not let your other children do.

Speech Therapy
Speech therapy is very important for all children with the syndrome if they are to reach their full potential. Sadly, there is a shortage of speech therapists. If your child is unable to get regular speech therapy it is worth asking a speech therapist to tell you the most useful things that you can do at home to help your child.
